in this video we see a guy who checked the internet to find a place he wanted to work, found the owner of the company and where he would be at, met him and told him about how he found him and got an interview, he's doing that got him an internship where he wanted. You network now by going on the internet and social media You know you're networking with the right people when you see that they're successful. Its not what you know, its who you know.

this course gives you all the tips you need to succeed in  future employment, for example- Positive attitude and enthusiasm will help you get and keep a job. good communication skills are extremely important. team work is critical for work you accomplish and benefit more when you work together. you need to think on your feet. networking is important, be professional get there on time, do your work even the work you don't necessarily have to do.

soft skills- teamwork

in this video we see a girl who came up with a great project but she couldn't do it without her team, she was good by telling her boss that she didn't just do it by herself, working as a team is more beneficial, you save more time and chances are your outcome will be better then if you did it yourself. The skills required for good team work is you have to be positive, work well with others, do your part and be helpful.

soft skills- critical thinking and problem solving

in this video we see pre school teachers solving a situation and think creatively to make there ;life simpler. it is a valuable skill to be able to problem solve and critically think when you're a web designer because you need to be able to fix problems within your site and be creative when it comes to organization, need to be able to think on your feet.

in this video we see a girl talking in all abbreviations (speaking in text). you need good communication skills for every job. it is important to communicate your ideas clearly verbally because not everyone will understand what you're saying and its important to be able to communicate with people.

In this video we see a guy showing up for work late, only did what his boss told him making you see his lack of professionalism, dropped the boxes at the end of work and asked if he could pick it up tomorrow. We can show professionalism in school by coming in on time and going above and beyond in our work.

soft skills- enthusiasm and attitude

This video is about how you should act when you go to a job interview. The first guy we saw came in dressed casual, talked to the lady like they were buddys, lifted his feet on the desk, said he didn't have any skills, picked up his phone during the interview, ect. The second guy came dressed professionally, shook the ladies hand, said he didn't have experience but that he was a fast learner and liked challenges. This video showed us the difference between the way you shouldn't and should act at an interview. We can be prepared at our job interview by coming in on time, dressing nice, showing manors, smiling, act friendly and answer questions in a smart positive manor.

How to start an e-business

              To make an e-business first you need to know the type of business you're making. You need to make a plan for your business like for example what you're going to need for your business in order to run it. After you have your business you're going to need a domain name (URL) for your website. After you have your URL you actually need a website so you can either design your own website, get a professional to do it for you or you can go to a website where you can just pick a template and do it yourself. Now that you have a website and URL you will need a web host which you can get from multiple websites for example www.justhost.com, www.godaddy.com, ect.

              Now that you have a website if you're selling something you will need an online shopping cart or a source of payment, you can choose something like paypal or let people use credit cards. If youre going to be using money you should provide web site security, when you don't have a "insurance" on your site, not a lot of people will want to buy there because they won't know if its secure or not therefore they wont trust it. You should also have a good costumer support, have contact information like an e-mail address, or mailing box or a phone number where they can contact you or somebody that will help them if they have an issue.

              You will also need to submit your URL to different search engines so that people may find you if they're looking in a place like google, bing, yahoo, ect. You should also have Meta-tags, what these are is key-words, once you have your URL it will search for keywords so when someone puts a word in a search engine that is one of your key words then it will pop up and people will be able to find your website easier.
